Description:
Used on 2000 ML55 for only about 1,500 miles in NYC. The Bilstein B6 (24-092858) for rear, Bilstein B6 (24-126649) for front performance shocks and H&R (29497-2) sport springs are too stiff for NY/NJ potholes and crappy road conditions. The suspension kit also includes new OEM MB Shock mount ($200 value). This suspension upgrade makes the car look very aggressive and stable on corners and high speeds, however it's a pain in the *** on NY/NJ road conditions. I switched back to new OE Bilstein B4 shocks/struts. If you live in area with good road conditions and are looking to upgrade your ML55's suspension performance, look no further then this post.
Paid over $1,000 with shipping for all 4 shocks ($600), 2 rear springs ($170) and rear shock/spring MB mounts ($200). Looking for $400 (OBO) shipped. Also, willing to sell parts separately.
