Description:
1998 Mercedes SL500 with 85,000 miles, no rust and in very good condition. This car spent most of its life in the South until coming to Illinois in 2013 with 73,000 miles where it was owned by an 85 year old car enthusiast until I purchased it in 2017. It has been garage kept and stored in winter. I have only put under 1000 miles on it since I bought it. A new convertible top was put on within the last 3 years along with several of the top hydraulic cylinders being replaced at a cost of about $6000. I had front end suspension work done since I've owned it. The brakes are good, it runs and shifts as it should and is fairly quick for a heavy car. All electronics are working as they should and the air blows cold. The tires have about 60% tread left but should last a while if it's not your daily driver. The color is Ruby with Parchment interior. The car is in very good condition, but is 20 years old and not museum quality. It also comes with owner manuals, tool kit, windscreen, new battery, stand for top. The map light area has some cracked plastic, both visor mirrors are faded. call or text Ken at 224-800-2933
