Very very nice example of a car you likely know well. My E55 is fully stock and has no mods. I purchased it in 2014 from a Long Island NY Mercedes-Benz dealer (trade-in for new E63 AMG S Estate) after reading the thread "WTB: E55 AMG Wagon (I know it's a long shot) for way too long.....The car never was listed on-line for sale and I bought it within 24 hours of being traded in.
I have real mixed emotions selling the car because it is such an unusual and amazing piece of automotive history. This car has no stories, is in condition that you would expect for a 2005 with this mileage. If you would like to know about every little chip and niggle, I'll happily disclose what I know. That said, it is beautiful, fully serviced, needs nothing to be driven from coast to coast (in case you want a Left Coast car).
I have all service records including the VMI and AutoCheck from when I purchased it. I just had the fuel tank and lines replaced. The wheels have been powder coated by RimPro to remove a bit of rash and fitted with new Pirelli P Zero rubber and are perfect. Brakes are 70-90% and rotors are fresh. Transmission service, plugs, oil, filter - all up to date.
