1983 Mercedes 300SD, W126 chassis...The Golden Engine!!!
One of the most reliable engines ever manufactured. Strong, no blow-by, starts immediately. After over 35 years of reliable service (and many more to come), I am reluctantly parting with my Panzerwagen. This engine is bullet-proof. It is now time to turn it over to a Mercedes hobby enthusiast to keep the tradition. I will be keeping the diesel tradition going with my new (new to me) 2005 E320 CDI.
Mileage: Been to the moon and back, and ready to head back out to the moon!! Yes! This diesel is only middle aged!!!
