I have owned this beautiful SL500 for about 3 years. I have replaced all the typical issues with these cars. Visor hinge covers, Visor mirror covers, all 16 spark plugs, Transmission fluid and filter with genuine MB fluid (includes a couple more quarts), Console lift piston and button, drivers side mirror (heated dimming was about $300 and was foggy), Mercedes corner/directional lights (clip broke on 1 I replaced both so it didn't look off). No check engine lights or codes. There was 1 last year and it was an O2 sensor and I replaced with a new Bosch one. New Bilstein shocks on all 4 corners with new front strut stops (again Mercedes). Silver arrow drilled rotors on all 4 corners with Akebono pads. Runs great and is a blast to drive!!
