I am reluctantly offering my 2004 S430 for sale. I'm entering into a new line of work and sadly I really need a truck at this time. I recently purchased it in November of last year. I would prefer to keep it, but you can't haul around construction materials in a S Class and keep your self respect.

So let me tell you about the car and why I'm selling here. I know that the people on this site understand and appreciate the marvel of engineering that this car embodies. I absolutely love driving it, it handles beautifully, the acceleration is smooth and very responsive, and the level of comfort and amenities even for an '04 exceeds some so-called luxury cars made today.

I also know that you will have the appropriate appreciation for the work that has been done on the car to date. As well as not over-exaggerate the seriousness of the few tweaks still to be completed. The following list contains all of the improvements that have been made to the car by me personally. All parts were installed NEW. Nothing rebuilt or re-manufactured. Receipts are available for inspection.

1. Suspension air compressor & filter
2. Air compressor valve block
3. Rear air shocks (both sides)
4. Changed Shift lock lever from plastic to aluminum
5. Unused full sized spare with original jack & tow ring
6. New BOSCH Turbine Fuel Pump & filter
7. Updated 2014 GPS CD
8. New set of 65,000 mile all season tires
9. Weather-tech Mats

Performed "B" service 6,000 miles ago including;

1. Valvoline Full Synthetic Motor Oil
2. Throttle body & MAF sensor cleaned
3. K&N Oil filter
4. K&N Air filters x2
5. 16 NGK 5464 Iridium Spark plugs

Not all of the changes were necessary, but I wanted to be in complete control of the vehicles maintenance schedule, and know exactly when certain parts were replaced. And some were done as a preventative measure against common issues with the W220. As you can see from the pictures, the car is immaculate on the inside. However there are a few minor blemishes on the exterior. Given the time, attention, and investment this car has already received, as well as the accolades from those who have ridden in it, plus it's timeless styling, I don't think they take away from the overall value or the vehicle.
