Description:
I'm on the hunt for an AMG wagon with the third row seats. I have a budget up to $40k and am hoping to find one with under 60k miles and decent maintenance history. My current lease ends in August so I'm very motivated. Help me MBWorld!
Help make my fast wagon dreams come true and let me never be late to soccer practice again! If I win I promise to post pics with the soccer team in tow and loaded down with gear.

IMHO, I would stay away from the 2007-2009 E63 AMG wagon unless you have documentation that the head bolts were replaced. I never cheaped out on regular maintenance and it still happened to me at 99k miles.
It is going to be very difficult to find one under 60k miles. These are already pretty rare birds to begin with.

I was also going to say..check BaT, and under 60k miles is doubling the stakes on an already hard to find wagon. Good luck with the hunt, I too am watching the market on these.

@anomadtoo - My wife isn’t too thrilled with this idea and is trying to make it as hard as possible. In fairness to her, I’m more likely to settle than she is so this will end up pushing us into a better car in the end.

I’m broadening our search. I convinced my wife that we don’t strictly need the third row. I think we can also stretch the budget a little for a 2012 or 2013 model. Any sellers out there?

Looking for E63 Wagon 2012-13 must have 3rd row....wife says too many toys already.
S63 Wagon AMG 3rd row
Did I see correctly, are you also in San Jose? I'm also looking now for a 2012-2013 AMG E63 Wagon but MUST have the 3rd row.
I did see that older 2004 E500 in Virginia in white with blue interior but I'd like something newer and "stronger" and of course geographically closer.

No clue how many in that 2012-2013 year range were imported let alone how many had the third row jump seat but if anyone knows a source for that data, it might help dissuade me?
Two small girls age 3 and 4 and need to be able to occasionally seat 7 when grandma and nieces visit.
Thanks -- Eric
