My story: I have 20 inch HRE S101s as well as stock 19's wheels . Driving out of Columbus Ohio one night BAM pot hole..... Take off HREs put on stock set. Two weeks Later BAM pot hole in Columbus AGAIN. Damaged the stock rim but it held air. Could not find a rim so I bought 4 new ones.
I was going to have one stock set finished in black. However the company who refurbished my old set said the stock wheel that was damaged was not repairable DAG. So I have these 3 beauties in my wife's garage. Funny it is only my garage when it needs cleaned ?
Btw a destroyed stock 19 AMG wheel is worth 17.00 in scrap. The guy said you selling it to me I said no, I would rather show it to my Colimbus Ohio friends and pout! Ha
