I've had this amazing car for about a year and no car has ever made my daily drive more enjoyable. However, it really doesn't fit the pickup / drop off / after school lifestyle I actually have, no matter how much I like pretending.
This car has been serviced by Rocco's European Garage, generally considered one of the best non-dealer service centers in these parts. The engine runs well, the tires are nearly brand new, it has a new main battery. I've had all recommended service performed.
There are a couple of minor issues I want to make sure I'm up front about:
1) You can see in one of the pictures that the plastic shroud on the left side of the driver's seat is broken. It's not very noticeable, in my opinion.
2) The 6 CD changer behind the seat isn't recognized. It's never worked for me. I've never cared, but you might.
3) This winter a couple of times the battery warning light has come on. I've had the main battery replaced, the started battery checked, the alternator checked, no issues. The car has always started with no hesitation, and it has only happened maybe 3 times.
Bonus - when I bought this car it had an XM subscription active. It's been over a year and it's never stopped working. It has the bluetooth puck (I never found it very useful) and two working fobs for the Keyless Go system.
I have not made or identified any modifications from stock on this vehicle. The top works great, no issues with the ABC, it's been a awesome car, honestly. A little expensive to maintain, but that's the joy of an older MB, right?
