I'm putting up for sale my 2005 Mercedes E55 AMG. For those of you unfamiliar with the car, it is the top of the line E-Class AMG available in 2005, and when it came out in 2003, it was the fastest production sedan ever built. It has 470 horsepower and 520 ft lbs of torque from the factory, and is powered by a hand-built supercharged 5.4L V8, based upon the V8's found in other Mercedes models from this era. Many enthusiasts prefer this E55 over the E63 that came after it, as the E63's motor had numerous design flaws that can be a nightmare to fix. None of that here. The car is fitted with active air suspension at all 4 corners, along with adjustable rear shocks. This car is a joy to drive, and offers unrivaled ride quality, build quality, and power.

This car has the full E63 AMG treatment to it, to make it look a bit more updated. This includes a new front bumper and grill, new LED headlights and taillights, E63 AMG OEM wheels, and even the E63 steering wheel with paddles (all functional). If you like the E63 look in the E55 body, look no further, as this is extremely expensive to do if not already offered on the vehicle!

This car has many options, including heated and ventilated front seats, massage active dynamic front seats, keyless entry/push button start, digital 4-zone climate control, voice control (doesn't work very well), integrated bluetooth phone, forward collision warning (yes, in 05!), and ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (otherwise known as Distronic, yes in 05!). Distronic is an extremely rare and sought after option on these cars, and makes driving on longer highway trips extremely easy. All of these features are in addition to the standard features of the car... rain sensing windshield wipers, a sunroof, a harman/kardon sound system (sounds amazing!), 8-piston Brembo brakes up front w/ AMG lettering, Quad metal polished AMG exhaust tips, etc. etc. All of these features/options are functional, including the push button start, massage dynamic seats, Distronic, and the active air ride.

This car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic, which has roots in AMG racing heritage, has an Anthracite full Nappa leather interior that is in extremely good shape and still supple, Burred walnut veneer wood trim, and has an Orion gray Alcantara headliner that is very soft. Fit and finish is superb on these cars, and this one is no exception.

• OEM Blower motor
• OEM hood struts
• Valve covers resealed
• New Mann Air filters
• Full OEM ignition service (all 16 spark plugs AND wires)
• Brand new lug nuts
• Brand new side mirror seals
• Oil + filter change using Liqui Molly Synthetic
• Clean and lubricate sunroof tracks
• Full car wax

I have extra parts that go along with the car as well, including the original wheels off of the car with tires on them, a set of rear Arnott air springs and struts, and other bits and bobs. The tires on the car now are in very good shape, have at least 50% or more tread left, and do not need to be replaced. They are all Continentals and were all changed at the same time, no mismatched tires here. The car also has a high mileage award on it awarded by the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center, which I will be including with the car, along with the literature that comes with it.

The car had its fuel tank replaced under warranty by the Mercedes-Benz dealership, along with both of the fuel sending units recently. These are very costly to fix, and have already been addressed on this car. This car is also under the 25 year, unlimited mileage warranty on the SBC electronic braking system, which was also recently replaced.

This car is in extremely good shape, has never been in an accident, is garage kept, is a non-smoker vehicle, and adult driven. It has been a Texas car its whole life and has no rust, corrosion, etc. I have 2 keys for the car, and a clean TX title in hand. It is the way it should be, and is ready to go to a new home.
