The time has come, I have to sell my rare, special, IWC Edition, CLS55 AMG (W219). When's a better time to take a drive just to drive than during our 'stay-at-home' orders?
The car has been garaged most of its life. I myself put about 10K miles on it over the last 3 years.
This is a 1 of 55 ever made in 2006 as a collaboration with IWC (International Watch Company) Schaffhausen.
I ALSO, have the IWC Ingenieur Mercedes-Benz AMG watch that was sold with the car. Authentic with the original boxes, manuals and a never-used microfiber towel for the watch.
The dial of the watch matches the gauges on the instrument cluster. It also has the AMG logo on the caseback (see pictures).
Authentic with the original boxes. The watch was barely used (see photos).
I can sell the car with the watch or without.
Preferably it goes as a set to the new owner.
I've seen the watch go anywhere from $3-6K.
The color is what Mercedes/AMG called "titanium grey." The trim has a matte/brushed titanium color to it.
The seats are also a unique color that matches all the trim and titanium and are perforated, heated & cooled.
The trim and dials on the dashboard has special AMG / IWC logos.
The dash is piano black, not wood grain.
The only thing not original on this car are the wheels. The previous owner updated the wheels to authentic OEM, CLS63 AMG wheels because he either had a crack or a bend in one.
I never got to it, but was looking for a set of OEM 19s that I can powder coat the original titanium grey.
You can find a lot more on this car at: https://www.motortrend.com/news/news...mbamgiwccls55/

Or just Google "IWC CLS AMG"
The AMG tuned CLS has the supercharged, 5.4L V8, engine with 469 HP and 516 ft-lbs of torque.
It's an absolute pleasure to drive. Acceleration is fast and the torque is really something else. Runs really smooth.
You have the paddle / button shifters on the steering wheel too!
Minor imperfections for an almost 15 year old car. I don't think any imperfections are larger than a dime... most are the size of pen tip.
Fully loaded with every options that was offered.
I have 2 original keys, with KEYLESS-GO.
Custom OEM colored perforated leather seats (designo Edition of its own?)
AMG Exhaust
Rear Spoiler
Parking Sensors
Heated and ventilated (cooled) front seats.
The rear seats are heated as well.
Alacantara, suede headliner.
Alacantara trim on the steering wheel & shift knob.
Original COMMAND system that works well.
Auxiliary cable input near the dash for your phone (if you choose not to upgrade to Bluetooth head unit).
Automatic HIDs and fog lights.
Ambient lighting in the interior throughout the car.
Rear powered windshield shade.
Powered trunk lid.
New battery installed with receipt (may need an auxiliary battery soon).
Good AMG brakes and slotted rotors.
New tires, Yokohama Advan Sports A/T (less than 5K mile on them) with receipts ($1000)
The electronic suspension is flawless with adjustability of stiffness.
The suspension can raise if needed (but since I never lowered it, it rarely ever needs to raise itself).
The trunk is huge and a solid road trip car.
At ~80K original miles.
It does have a brand new OEM windshield ($1500+), the original had a rock chip from driving.
OEM 19" CLS63 AMG wheels (no curb rashes, but a few clear coat chips from debris).
There are no known problems. I wish I could justify keeping it but I don't have a need for two sedans.
I have an Autocheck report from when I purchased it, I'm happy to it over to those interested.
Clean Carfax, no accidents.
I really don't know what to ask for it... I did a quick Google search and saw some at dealers listed from $20-25K.
Given the condition, my initial asking price is $19K (car only). We can discuss the watch if interested.
I am open to serious offers and realistic ones will be considered. I am motivated to sell it.
But understand it's only worth what someone is willing to pay...
I have to ignore the lowballers.
Please don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. The car is really clean.
My cell is 213-293-8836.
