Description:
This is a set of factory take offs from a W213 (newer body) E63S. As you can see from the pictures, they have the black centers and polished trim. They also have an excellent set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, in the factory config for W213, 265/35/20 fronts, 295/30/20 rears, Xtra load (proper for this car). My tread depth gauge shows them to be 8/32 (or more, remember new is 10/32). They (the tires) had about 1000 miles when I took them off. They still have the little nipples on the sidewalls. The date codes are appropriate.
The condition is excellent on all 4. I see one mark, approximately 2mm in size, on one wheel face. I'm going to get my airbrush guy to touch it (I think you can find it, but you will have to blow the picture way up). One wheel had a VERY minor place of road rash, I refinished it. I would say they are easily 9+ out of ten. I have a concours mentality, so...They are round and straight in the right places.
These things from your Mercedes dealer are ridiculously priced, around $1700 a wheel. That doesn't include caps, bolts, or TMPS, which is all included in these. Then you can add about another $1400 for a set of PS4's, if Michelin has them. The asking price is $3500. There are two sets on Ebay , one at $3900, one at $5400, so I think I'm at a fair place. That being said, they are in my way and a realistic offer would probably buy them.
I'd rather not ship if I can avoid it--I'm super paranoid about freight damage, and it would be super expensive, easily $3-400. (Please don't email me and say "best price to xxxxx"). I'm in the Atlanta metro area, so maybe we could find each other. I have a good rep on this board (20 years worth), and you can check out my ebay feedback ( I am encoremotors) or any other way you like. I believe the offset on these is 25F and 55 R,, 9x20 front, 10x20 rear, but I may be in error. PLEASE check your fitment or what you want to use them on. I don't want them back because they wouldn't fit on your old 300E like you hoped.
Maybe you have the smaller wheels and want to step up, or yours were stolen, or you want to just give your base E class a fabulous upgrade. Hope they will work for someone. I have more pictures but didn't want to use up too much space. Thanks....
..
I'll try to get the 4 them together for a group pic
..BTW, only one wheel was touched, and it really wasn't "refurbed" it had a very small mark on the edge, about 15mm wide, that they dismounted, filled, and smoothed for me. Looks beautiful, and I am a councours judge, participant and winner. .

But all this trying to ship and collect for them has turned out to be exactly what I thought it would be--a giant PITA. When they are this big and this spendy, it just gets out of control.
So I'm going to leave the ad up, and sometime, there will be someone with some accident damage, theft, or an E53 who needs some tires too, and I hope they will be close enough by to either meet or pick up. I'm not trying to shut any of you down, it's just that is going to be just plain expensive to ship and insure them. Sorry.
I will leave this up a few more days then kill it. Thanks for trying.
