Description:

There is a part that attaches to the supercharger on the M113 motor which threads into the two holes in the picture and allows the motor to be lifted out of the engine bay. I need the part number if no one has one available.

Wouldnt you attach the chain to the engine and not the supercharger? anyway, I found this for you. Check that page and you might get lucky.

Thanks @PJmak ! I appreciate your trying to help.

The piece I am looking for makes it a lot easier to lift the engine out as it creates the lift point. Since the SC is mated very well to the block, it actually is a better solution.

I could drop the engine out of the bottom but it would be easier to disconnect the trans and lift out and then swing over to put into an E500 wagon.

The search continues!

I asked my friend who is a former mb tech.

He said theres nothing that hes seen for that and he says those are meant for when you are pulling the supercharger out.

He said the hook should be in the same place as a n/a m113 which is in the front under the cover. I just popped the hood on my c55 to take pics

Combed through EPC but turned up empty. I recall coming across this tool online in the last few months...hopefully not the Mandela Effect in play.

Your friend is correct. I would advise against lifting the engine via the supercharger.

Yea I've seen people use seat belts and wrap them down by the engine pulley. Seatbelts wont scratch up the engine so its preferred to use those over chains.
