Hey guys I have up for sale my 2006 CLS55 AMG! We have had this car for about 7 years now. It is time to let it go. This is a rare car ONLY being made 1 year. I have an extensive service history for the car as well. ***READ POST!*** **SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY**
Pros:
-Rare car! Only made in 2006!
-100% real AMG SUPERCHARGED 5.5L V8
-500hp 515trq!
-heated and cooled seats.
-Smogged and Registered!
-CLEAN TITLE! IN HAND!
-160k miles (it's been 14 years, it gets driven often)
-NO check engine light.
-New tires all around!
-New brakes all around!
-K-Mac front thrust arm bushings.
-D2 racing adjustable coilovers. NO MORE AIR SUSPENSION PROBLEMS!
-Resonator delete. Sounds nice but not overbearing.
-Ac blows cold!
-Lots of service records available! Including new transmission installed and new supercharger installed at the dealership! The car runs as it should.
-Oil changed within the last 500 miles Mobil 1 full synthetic.
-Body is in good condition overall. Straight no dents.
-20% tint front and back.
-Only selling to upgrade. Car hasn't given me any major troubles.
Cons: This car is old so some things are obviously not going to be perfect.
-Cupholders are broken. They hold drinks but should be replaced. $100 for a brand new OE set.
-Auxiliary battery is weak. This is the small motorcycle size battery up front. This car has 2 batteries. I just replaced the main BIG expensive battery (~$320 battery) No starting or charging issues whatsoever! Just getting weak.
-Front right fog light lens cracked. I replaced it once already and guess what a rock it it again so I said forget it. They can be had second hand for cheap.
That's it. It's a solid driving car! I will try and be as honest with you as I can be. Getting harder to find these CLS55 in decent condition and ones that aren't completely beat! I'm Asking $10,500 OBO. Will listen to all REASONABLE offers.
All recalls have been performed. I had the gas tank recall done around 90k miles as it smelled like fuel when the tank was full. Recall was performed and the entire gas tank and all components were replaced (both fuel pumps, tank, all hoses, etc.) Most recently a sunroof glass recall was done. This was about 2 weeks ago.
Transmission was replaced @92,362 miles
It was a used transmission supplied by the extended warranty company at the time. At that time a new filter and gasket were put on, transmission cooler was also flushed and cleaned out. Transmission was replaced due to it not coming out of park. It shifts perfectly now and always has since I’ve purchased the car. That whole process was $9,500
Supercharger was replaced shortly after @93,768 miles with a reman charger, updated bracket and updated cooling hoses. Engine and transmission mounts were done at the same time as well as the O2 sensors. Also $9,000 worth of work done.
