Hello,
My son decided to part ways with his 2008 CLS63 AMG.
The head bolts, intake cam shafts and the lifters have been recently replaced (4K miles ago). Carleton Mercedes quoted $8000 to do this work.
It has the P30 AMG Performance Package, which added composite brakes, a multi-disc 40% locking rear differential (LSD),
AMG performance suspension, and an AMG sports steering wheel.
It comes with the gorgeous 2 piece AMG wheels and it has Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+ all around.
It is loaded with many options including an MB OEM Bluetooth interface.
It is clean inside and out and everything works like it should.
Two minor things to note are:
-->Keyless go on the driver door stopped working recently (got a replacement door handle but it needs to be painted)
-->Left paddle shifter is missing.
In the process of doing the head bolts, the following items also have been replaced:
- Head gasket
- Valve cover gaskets
- Timing gear cover gaskets
- Camshaft adjuster bolts and washers
- Intake manifold gaskets
- New PCV valve
The car does come with a salvage title from a front end collision (passenger side).
