CL500
have you found one yet? I was in your same boat, ended up with a CL500 instead of CL55. HP and torques are adequate, engine and transmission are bullet-proof. Just drove it across country at 80 all day and it's a peach. didn't miss the extra power, appreciate the less-complicated drivetrain, engine still sounds great. Now, all the switches/knobs and fussy ABC suspension is a separate issue but you get that with the CL500, CL55 or S models of that era. Good luck finding your car!
