There's another one here locally I know the guy but his is salvage and he wont sell.

I also see a red c36 in my neighborhood every once in a while, I'm trying to catch him and meet him.

I would love to own a red c36 next to my c43.

I used to own a silver c36 back in the day. Its definitely a different feeling driving it but I love both. c36 body kit looks better imo

Based on my research there are probably less than 40 total red c43s in the united states. 98 year is Imperial red while 99 is a different red of which there are less. So 99 red is the rarest red. Both reds looks the same its just a different name

Thanks for the input PJ! I remember seeing an imperial red ‘98 c43 amg for sale in rancho Cordova. It was on offer up, guy was asking $10.5 for it. This was back in May last year.

I am considering a c36, but the m104 worries me a bit. I heard they go through head gaskets which are now NLA. So I am hesitant about getting into one. Seems like the 43 is the one to get. Even better, a 55 M113 swap!

There should still be head gaskets out there. 97 didnt have issues with the head gasket from what I heard.

Was this the c43 In rancho?

Good to know.

Yes it was! I’m assuming that is it haha. Small world. I’m assuming he doesn’t plan on selling it considering he just got it?
