This modern classic has been my project car for the past year. I am only half complete with necessary repairs, but unfortunately have to sell as I am going back to graduate school.

In short: Engine starts and runs okay after extensive work, but vehicle does not yet drive well. Power delivery (vacuum leak), tires, brakes need attention. Southern car its whole life means that car is rust free and structurally in very good condition. Paint is in very poor condition and front bumper needs to be replaced. Interior is in average condition for its age.  This car has been absolutely fun to work on. Here's a detailed outline of everything I've done to the vehicle:

- Fuel Tank cleaned
- New fuel strainer
- New fuel hoses
- New fuel filters
- New fuel accumulator and pumps
- New fuel sender unit
- Fuel injectors cleaned and inspected - all OEM
- Head gasket replaced using 100% OEM parts
- Head pressure tested, cleaned, and resurfaced by professional machine shop (no warping, cracking, or any issues)
- New intake and exhaust manifold gaskets
- New throttle body rubber boot
- Intake manifold and exhaust manifold cleaned and inspected
- New spark plugs
- Cylinder compression test passed and within specs
- New vacuum lines in engine bay
- New water pump
- New radiator hoses
- Coolant system flushed 
- Power steering fluid flushed and replaced
- New battery 
- New air filter
- New belt
- New belt tensioner
- New engine mounts

All OEM parts where possible. All factory specifications used. Done with meticulous love and care (or OCD as my fiancé calls it)

Current condition:

- Engine: starts and runs well - Idles high. Feels like fuel/air mixture needs to be adjusted and that there is a vacuum leak in the system. Have not had the time to track it down yet.

- Drive: Vehicle does not drive well. Power delivery remains low. Additionally, wheels, front shocks, and brakes need replacing. Vehicle will need to be towed.

- Exterior: Paint is in poor condition, and front bumper will need to be replaced, but there is no notable rust on or under the car. Structurally solid.

- Interior: Leather is in average condition and has cracked on some surfaces. Carpets are clean and present. Wood trim on dash/center console needs to be replaced. Sunroof does not work - have not diagnosed.

Mileage is unclear since the odometer was broken when I purchased it. I think the likely mileage falls between 93k - 140k miles.

This vehicle is built like a tank and is a joy to work on. If you are looking for a project and love these modern classics this is the car for you.
