I am looking for Mercedes Benz discontinued part #273-090-25-82.
Air Inlet Duct - Mercedes-Benz (273-090-25-82)
2010-2011 Mercedes-Benz E 550 Coupe
Mercedes has discontinued this part...and unfortunately I need this to pass smog. My car is in beautiful condition but the coupling wore out or broke apart on its connection. This is specific for the left side (drivers side). If anyone has one for sale please contact me...thank you so much and I appreciate it.
This is the same part I believe for the 2010 e550 coupe in addition to the 2011 e550 coupe. They changed the style in 2012 and those are available everywhere but not a fit for my car Thank you for any help or ideas or suggestions
Nothing on ebay and I do have a search set up in case one gets listed. I had checked amazon and a lot of part sites and dealers/pick n pulls too...nothing
Here is my line of thought, the M273 engine, i.e. CL550/CLS550/E550/S550 from those times use the same engine, and same air intake. Here are the part lists for the air intake for the 3 of them
It is safe to assume the connector shape/cross section on the air-intake side is the same, correct? Now the other side, for the same engine you may want the same cross-section for the duct pipe (not necessarily, but), so it is very likely the differences between the different cars is the routing of the rest of the duct pipe, and they share the same connector. My GUESS only.
For the S550 and CLS550 is not discontinued, so there is a chance you can order from the stealership, and if it does not fit return it, or expand your search on eBay to include the other models with the M273/550 designations
