200$ for all 8. come and get them. august 8 they are free. august 15 they are going in the trash.
hi. i have two sets of wheels for these cars. one set is painted a dark charcoal color and two of them have curb rash. the other set (there are five but one of them has a worn tire that i use as a spare) was refinished and had a really bad clear coat applied and bubbled like crazy. it's going to cost me about 150$ for the black ones and maybe 300$ for the clear coated ones to have them fixed (the shop that fixed them will meet me half way.) would it be better to have them completely fixed or just sell as is? the black ones have conti extreme contact sports with lots of tread and the clear ones have conti extreme contacts dw06 (about half tread). the tires are worth at least 400$ per four. anyway, if anyone has advice, i'd love to read it. btw, i am in boston. i'd prefer someone to pick up them; but, i am so sick of them hogging up my tiny garage... they are heavy with the tires so i cannot imagine shipping is very inexpensive.

hmmm. never thought of that. good idea. i guess selling and shipping tires is easy. wheels maybe not. if i get ideas that i should sell the wheels after refinishing, maybe they shouldn't remount the tires. thanks!

it's going to be expensive to ship, to dismount the tires, to have them refinished. i'd rather not do any of that. if someone around here want to come get them, the whole lot for 700$ would be ok with me.

actually, i'd sell the whole lot for 500$ if someone wants to get them. i just want these things gone. the tires, themselves, are worth quite a bit more.

they are. i got them with horrible tires for 700$ about 8 years ago. i cleaned them and had 'em painted. i thought it would look good but, in the end, i didn't really like the look. they fit fine. they do have 255s on front and 285s on back whereas the others, i think are 245s and 275s. i should check offsets and widths. i'll post that soon. thanks, @cfmistry for your input.

i guess that there's really no interest at that obscenely low price. just looking at ebay, i see single wheels (no tire) selling for about what i was offering all 9 wheels and tires. maybe this is not the best place for non pristine wheels. tires are tires though and someone is really missing a good deal. too bad i switched to 19s. i think the solution is to get them all refinished and sell them on ebay. it sucks because i wanted to give someone here a great deal.

it's been a while. i am so sick of these wheels hanging around in my garage (a rarity in cambridge!) i just want them gone. both sets can be had for 300 if you pick up them. otherwise, i'll go to a friend's, strip the tires (and sell those) and chuck the wheels. which, frankly, is terrible. they are AMG wheels, not copies. use 'em for snows. refinish them? (the balance is pretty good.)
