 The Title:

I am selling this car as a PARTS CAR ONLY!! with a Florida Certificate of Destruction. There is no title, the certificate and a bill of sale proves your ownership at purchase.

Accident Event:

Vehicle was a daily driver until it was hit from behind on the passenger rear side on the absolute lower corner.  After the accident, it drove home.  Car would not re-start due to battery being crushed. However, all four doors, the hood and trunk open and close as they should. Also, no airbags were deployed at time of accident.

After the Accident:         

the car was bought back from Geico for 11474$ in 2018 (this means that a reseller offered Geico that much). The friend’s husband who bought it back intended to fix it and continue its use. He passed away last year. We think he did not understand the implication in Florida when a vehicle is branded with Destruction. Geico left the details out we assume. We and others have questioned the insurance industry when it makes these types of choices, though I guess in terms of dollars, cents, and time, it was the cheapest route for them. 

What are the possible LEGAL uses for this car?

1.     You can sell it internationally; other countries do not care about our laws – surprised?

2.      Race/track car (no vehicle registration required)

3.      Some states (Kentucky and Minnesota to name two) allow for you to rebuild from a Certificate of Destruction, but you still would not be able to get a title in Florida. I am not selling the car with any promised path to use on a road but only as a PARTS deal. || Certificate of Destruction || (certificatesofdestruction.com) will assist with these services to path it back to road usage, but they can only speak to their services.

4.      PARTS



 Mechanical Health:

·        I picked up the car last month and dropped it of at the local Indy shop and order a second key and asked for them to start and check all the fluids and review the car.

·        EVERY SYSTEM WORKS. (yes, even ABC, PSE, SBC) – look at my ABC post and you will see I work on these cars.

·        No Errors, no CEL

·        Rims are round/true, but tires are within 5k to replacement

·        Indy noted it is time for the control arms, and valve cover gaskets – but nothing is urgent.
