Description:
I'm starting to get into my upgrades. If you guys have parts that you think I'd be interested in for my 2011 C300 Luxury RWD, hit me up--even if it's not listed.
My limit is about $200 per check currently, so other then coilovers, brakes, or an epic set of lights, anything else I'd have to save up for.
Currently what I'm considering:
- A window diffuser
- Rear lip
- Black window trim (if it exists, otherwise I'll wrap it eventually)
- Led tail lights
- Projector / HID headlights
- Potentially coilovers or lowering springs (I'd like to keep most the ride comfort with a more aggressive look -- also my strut mounts were clunking when I got the car at 40k, so eventually it needs done anyways)
- Upgraded brakes? My brakes have slowly warped -- presumably due to my aggressive driving style and hard cornering, or maybe due to the fact the car was only driven 40k mi in 10 years.
- Android head unit upgrade? (currently Comand slide out w/ Bang & Olufsen)
- I've seen a custom designed 12" sub box for the driver rear wheel well. I would love to pick one up used instead of for $250.
- A second set of mirror covers (currently found a set for <$24 shipped, just looking to wrap them in micro camo like the shift knob, but keep my stock covers in case I sell the car, so I'm not sure anyone can match this unless they have genuine carbon fiber covers (not fake ABS carbon fiber ones)
Possible other considerations:
- Skirts / Lip kit
- Face lift
- Other visually appealing upgrades
- Any drivetrain / exhaust / etc. upgrades that will give mild hp gains or increase efficiency getting that power to the wheels without sacrificing reliability.
I'm not sure what is available for this car, but in the past I would've done things like an underdrive pulley and header back exhaust. But I get the sense that cost is the limitation with this car.
As for visual upgrades, I prefer to keep things aesthetically pleasing without being overly gaudy or obnoxious. Not looking to turn my Merc into a rice burner (just ignore the blue vinyl, I just have a thing for blue bahah).
Would also be VERY interested in a good 4K dashcam setup. Had a chick bumpertap me last week and try to run. Chased her a%# into a very shady part of town and sat there for an hour waiting for the cops while her friends wiped the car down for prints. Super shady.... Illegal temp tags... no license, no insurance, etc. No damage, but last time it cost my boss $5,000.... Thinking it's time to start logging footage.
