Mercedes SL55 AMG
First registered in November 2003.
I have owned this car since 29.07.2015, but its time to let it go to someone else to have fun with it, (as i only average 1000 miles a year with it, i have a few other classics, and storage is an issue, so reluctantly i have so this one has to go).
it has a new MOT, expiring on 2.03.23.
it has had a new consumer battery as the "electronic consumers offline" was popping up, (now rectified), common for cars that are not frequently used to keep the battery supply fully charged.
New Brake Pads,
a leak was coming from the rear N/S rear suspension, this was found to be a rusty split pipe, replaced with a mercedes part, so now the suspension is fine.
New bearing in the idler pulley.
air filter and ABC filter less than 1000 miles ago,
a nice sounding V8 engine with performance to match.
The bad bits..
it has bubbling around the rear arches, (common for mercedes builds of this era) and on the top of the OS roof section where it meets the pillar,
the bonnet has some paint flaking and a couple of patches where it has come off, (see pics).
The O/S 1/4 window has a motor issue, it keeps running on, and wont fully retract down.
drivers seat bolster needs recolouring and the seat trim has a crack. see pics.
please be aware, this is not a concours car, (so is priced as such), it does need some jobs doing.
