Backstory on vehicles: We are selling the Black 2007 Mercedes R320 and the Blue 2007 Mercedes R320 for our daughter whom has decided to sell instead of fixing,, she was going to fix them but then got very discouraged when we took the BLUE and BLACK Mercedes to our local mechanic where he was to fix the BLACK one using the BLUE one for parts if needed. Mechanic requested both cars to be on the lot. I drove the BLACK one to his shop where I backed it in the parking spot, the BLACK one drove great, we had a folder with all of the diagnostic paperwork on both vehicles, which the mechanic refused saying he would diagnosis the vehicle himself. He swore he could do the work but after a year of excuses he never even pulled the BLACK one in his shop When we finally gave up on him and his word that he would get the work done, we went to get the vehicles only to have the folder with all of the mechanical paperwork missing. The mechanic swears he never saw it, we think he destroyed the folder when we decided that he had the vehciles long enough, he was very angry as we pulled the vehicles out of his shop and left very dissapointed on him not keeping his word. We live in a smaller town and trusted this mechanic and his handshake, sad to say, he did not live up to a man that kept his word. so we do not have a lot of information on vehicles. The best to our daughters memory is that the BLACK one needed an oil leak fixed and remembered a diagnostic said it was the oil seals.
We are giving all of the information that we can remember. The BLACK car has not been driven for almost 1 1/2 years.
At one point in time the BLUE one had performance parts installed, after the wreck, our daughters now ex-husband had the performance parts pulled and we honestly don't know what he did with them, whether he had them installed on the BLACK one like he said he did, or if he lied and sold the parts, we just don't know and can't tell by looking at engine, as we are not mechanics.
