Description:
Selling a CETE Active Valve Control unit that's been on my 2018 AMG GT Roadster for the last 2 years. Simple install with Y-splitter, power connect and ground. No cutting or any risky stuff and easily reversible (I've just removed it in 15 mins). I have pictures showing it in place and what needs connecting where. I also have before and after video showing improvement when installed. Gives a deep, loud burble at startup and idle instead of only after 3k revs as per factory. Much nicer, more aggressive sound. Can also have a call to discuss installation if required. 10mm socket wrench and a couple of tie-wraps is all you need. Renntech EVM is same module I believe but the Cete uses cars mode select instead of keyfob remote of open/close valves. Much better in my opinion. $300 plus shipping.

Due to overwhelming response, reduced to $250.
It baffles me that no one wants this upgrade....it's the cheapest way to make a GT sound absolutely awesome and 250 is about 60% discount from what I paid. If anyone out there can let me know what may put you off such a fantastic upgrade, I'd be very interested to hear.

Hi, no, not sure any mod will give that. This module just holds open the exhaust valve using the when in the right mode (not comfort mode). The benefit is exhaust sound at startup and lower revs. Deeper, louder rumble.

Hi, sorry, I couldn't say one way or another on that one. I bought it for AMG GT which has same V8 bi-turbo but no knowledge of valve control. Maybe manufacturer has some info Active Valve Control - individual flap control for the exhaust (cete-automotive.de)

Hi, there is a panel in the passenger foot well that comes off with 3 nuts. Install is then disconnecting a specific connector behind the panel, inserting the Y connector on the Cete device and then connecting power and earth. I have photos if more detail required and instructions come with it. Very simple, no cutting, soldering or anything that can't be undone in minutes.
