I bought this telephone Bluetooth adapter for my 2007 S-Class when my new Google Pixel 7 Android phone was no longer compatible with the adapter that came with the car. 

It will also work with iPhone. 

You must have the factory receiver (usually under your arm rest) for it to work. 

​​​​​​It is my understanding that these were only available in Europe and are a great alternative when your older Mercedes system no longer supports your new phone.
