Up for sale is our 2004 Mercedes E500 4 matic wagon. This was the last non-AMG V8 wagon offered by Mercedes. Powered by the 5.0 liter V8 with 302 horsepower and 339 ft/lbs torque; this wagon really moves! Best part is this wagon is a 7seater. It has the rear facing third row! Has 175,xxx miles but has been well maintained and the engine only has 70,xxx miles! Why are we selling it? We bought it to tow behind our motorhome as we explore our beautiful country. We bought a 20 foot flat bed trailer to pull the wagon behind our motorhome; needless to say after 6 months we found out that many campgrounds do not have the space to accommodate the trailer. We have now bought a Jeep to flat tow behind the motorhome and we have sold the trailer. We would love to keep the wagon but have no use for it at this time.  I also have 14 cars and do not have room to keep it much longer.

The wagon is finished in Cubanite Silver metallic with Ash leather interior. Options include airmatic adjustable suspension, factory roof rails, power moonroof, leather, dual memory seats, heated seats, navigation, power tailgate, xenon headlights, and factory 17 inch 2 piece wheels.

The wagon has a few modifications:

1) E55 stainless steel style exhaust tips

2) E55 18 inch AMG wheels, also included is the 17 inch wheels and tires. Both sets of tires have over 80% tread left.

3) Smoked taillights, headlights, and markers

4) Roof box

5) Tinted windows

6) Brembo front rotors and pads

7)  V8 4 matic fender emblems

Even though this wagon has 175,000 miles it does not look or drive like the mileage. I get compliments everytime I stop at the gas station! In October of 2019 at 162,000miles it had the motor replaced with a E500 motor that had 57,000 miles on it. Needless to say the engine runs like new without any abnormal noises, or leaks. Has plenty of power. Recent maintenance includes: serpentine belt, idler pulley, transmission shift solenoid and conductor plate, auxillary battery replacement, voltage regulator, brake boost pressure accumulator, suspension control module, both front struts, front control arms and sway bar links, alignment, oil & filter service. Last month it had a new transfer case installed; this is a $3,000 dollar job! It needs nothing but a new owner!

Mechanically it is in great shape and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.

Exterior does show some battle scars from the mileage. A few touched up rock chips on the front end, various scratches on the body, small dent on hood and near rear tailgate. There are two long scratches on the passenger side which have been touched up. I also have the factory touch up paint available. Paint still shines very well and no sign of any rust.

Interior is in great shape. Seats show minor wear. No dash cracks or cracks in the leather. All electronic options work and the A/C is ice cold. Heat and heated seats work 100%.

The wagon is great looking and reliable transportation. Most of the common failures on these cars have been addressed with this one. You get the two sets of wheels, spare grill, and roof box as well!
