For Sale: '97 C36 AMG I purchased from the 2nd owner (owned 1998-2020). Bought the car in Maryland and drove home to TN. Have all service records going back to '98/99. Car was driven a lot by previous owner so has lots of rock chips and scratches. Car runs and drives nicely, but might need some transmission fluid changes to get it shifting smoother. Blows some white smoke at idle. Last head gasket was done probably 50k+ miles ago, may need one again in the future. I had the headliner redone professionally in black. Has a small chipped hole in the front right turn signal. Has some surface rust on underside. Has 3 rust spots on body--attaching pictures (drivers door around plastic cladding, drivers side rear door in center, passengers side rear fender). Overall a decent driver that could be made nice with some work, or parted out. Haven't driven it much in the past year, got another car and got busy with work and life.
