This is a size 5 car with a size 9 engine and easily the must fun vehicle I’ve ever owned. I bought it in October 2023 from Aston Martin in Summit, NJ as the second owner. It is a very striking vehicle with the red top and looks even better with the top down. The only issue I’ve had with the car is fraying cords in the convertible top – I managed to find a place that knows their stuff inside and out and had it fixed as new (see my post on MBWorld).
I’ll miss this car a lot the second I sell it, but I’m looking for something a lot more durable (not a convertible that has to get handwashed and parked in a garage), with higher ground clearance, four doors and probably AWD. Cars I like a lot include E63, M5, 550i (2021-), X3M, X5M, X3 M40i (2020-), and maybe even a supercharged S4, S5 or SQ5.
I’m asking $55,000 OBO since the car includes a fully-transferrable “except for” (i.e. best) warranty from AutoNation until October 2026, covering everything besides obvious maintenance items, wheels and tires (I’ve already used this twice for new rims at ~$1,500/each) and the next service (I used Aston Martin in Summit, NJ for the first 2 covered services). I’ll also include a set of summer tires in carriers with lots of fun left. If the buyer doesn’t want the warranty, I’ll reduce the price by whatever I get back from AutoNation by ending the coverage.
This is my daily driver so mileage will go up over time. My original plan was to hold the car until the warranty runs out and then trade it in, and that’s what I’ll do if there are no takers. It would make me really happy if someone on this forum likes the car enough to buy it!
