Product Information
OEM replacement intake manifold
When the factory plastic adjuster lever becomes defective the most common fault codes that are stored in the ECM and illuminate the CEL are P2004 (tumble flaps stuck in actuated position); P2006 (stuck in non-actuated position) and / or P2005 (mechanical fault of one actuating lever).
Note: The holes for the throttle housing gasket are not threaded. The mounting bolts are self tapping. Length of rubber hose is included to manage either of the two cracked, torn, or dry-rotted hoses from the manifold to the MAP sensor or the secondary air injection pump.
Engine Intake Manifold
An engine intake manifold is a component that distributes the air–fuel mixture to the engine’s cylinders. It’s mounted on the top or side of the engine and is typically made of aluminum, plastic, or composite materials.
Engine Intake Manifold Failure Symptoms
Engine misfires or rough idle – uneven air delivery to cylinders causes unstable combustion.
Coolant or vacuum leaks – cracks or bad gaskets allow leaks that affect performance.
Check Engine Light (CEL) – triggered by intake air imbalance, leaks, or sensor issues.
