Description:

2017 E400 4Matic Wagon. AMG Sport package (not an AMG engine). About 78K miles.

·       Polar White with real leather Avant Garde interior in macchiato (tan) and real wood accents. Most ads will say leather interior but if you look up the build sheet on lastvin.com, you will see that most are MB-tex which has a penchant for ripping right under your butt.

·       It's loaded. P3 package for those in the know. For those not in the know, check out https://www.arrowheadmb.com/blog/wha...emium-package/  For some reason, that info page doesn’t include ventilated seats but I can send pictures of the button for the ventilated seats. About the only option it doesn't have is the heated steering wheel and heated rear seats (originally sold in SoCal).

·       It gets better mileage (28-30mpg) at 80mph than it does at 65. Twin turbo 3.0L V6, 329hp...requires premium. I've only run Shell V-power 93 for the 2.5 years I've owned it.

Features that are amazing:

·       Dynamic/active seats...they inflate the side bolsters when the accelerometers detect lateral loads (they hug you going around corners)

·       Massaging heated seats. Sounds bougie, actually amazing on long trips. Seats are also ventilated

·       Dynamic LED headlights. Best auto-dimming of any car I've ever driven.

·       Distronic package highlights:
-Adaptive cruise control
-360 degree views for parking/maneuvering in tight spaces
-Parking assist (finds a parking spot and parks the car for you - I've never used this)
-Lane keeping assist
-Anti-collision autonomous braking

·       First year with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto native to the computer

·       Heads up display; at first I thought it was a gimmick but it's amazing. I never look down at the gauges any more.

·       Analog speedo and tach. It does have a multi-option screen between them; I tend to leave that screen on the trip computer but it can be adjusted with the mini haptic interfaces on the steering wheel

·       Stealth hot rod

·       Can very easily put a bike inside - 41.5" between the interior wheel wells

·       Rear facing 3rd row seats...only usable for pre-teens but it's there

·       All seats fold flat...great for sleeping in the back

It does not have touch screens; at first, I was disappointed in this but there's 3 other ways to maneuver around the screens - haptic "mouse" in the center console, multi function wheel in the center console, and haptic mini mice (mouses?) on the steering wheel. I've gotten to like this better since my big screen on the dash isn't marred with fingerprints.

Carfax has a pretty detailed service record on this car before I owned it; see maintenance record in a separate document. All of the A & B services have been completed on time (miles or years, whichever is earlier). Here's what I've had done in addition to the A & B services since 51K miles/December 2023:

·       New rear brake pads, replace brake fluid at 59K

·       Transmission fluid replace at 59K

·       New battery at 68K

·       New transmission oil pan, filter, and gasket at 69K; transmission fluid replacement at the same time

·       New rear airbag shocks (load-leveling, not Airmatic suspension which has a lot of issues) at 71K

·       New load leveling compressor at 71K

·       New spark plugs at 71K

All work has been done at either Alpine Motor Werks in Windsor, VT or at Erik’s Imprt Autoworks in Marlborough, NH. The owner of Alpine is a longtime friend but he decided to retire so he suggested Erik.  They are both Euro specialists and are really meticulous…you could eat off of their shop floors.

Things that I've bought that come with it:

·       M-B Cross bars - aftermarket bars (at least the ones I've tried) interfere with the panoramic sunroof

·       Donut spare tire, scissor jack - the original car came with runflats which suck; also have the extended wheel bolts for the spare

·       Jack adapter for floor jacks - it's a small thing but really makes life easier when doing brakes or changing out winter/summer wheels/tires

·       Protective wheel bolt socket...wouldn't want to mar those AMG wheels.

·       Winter wheels with Michelin CrossClimate2 3PSF rating - not as good as Hakkas or Blizzaks but they ride way better when it's dry

·       Mudflaps/splash guards - M-B does not offer these but these are really good aftermarket items that look like they belong
