I recently found a vehicle that I would like to buy so I’m putting my wagon up for sale.

Funny enough, I never knew these platforms existed until I happened upon it on this forum about 1 year ago. 

At the time, I had a ‘10 W204 C63 AMG w/ a built motor and Weistec Stage 2 supercharger. I had it listed on Facebook Marketplace for a little while, but didn’t get any serious offers, so I thought listing it on the forums would be more appropriate, as I think it would take an enthusiast to see the value in it.

As soon as I listed the sedan, I saw this wagon listed, and immediately messaged the owner to see if he would be interested in a trade. While he thanked me for the offer, he already had a replacement in mind, so I thanked him for his time and told him I would reach back out when I was ready. 

Shortly after we spoke, I sold the C63, reached back out to the Owner, agreed-upon a deal, and I went to pick it up from him in Yonkers, NY.

Personally, my goal is to own experience and modify as many unique cars as possible. I’m not necessarily interested in finding the newest lowest mileage car I can find but something unique in different.

For those who aren’t familiar with these platforms, they only made 153 S211 E63 AMG wagons between 2007-2009. Only 67 were made in 2007. 

Normally when I get a car, I enjoy making cosmetic modifications that complement the existing lines rather than take away from it. Prior to committing to this car and speaking to the previous owner, I could tell that he put a lot of time money and effort into getting this car as mechanically solid as possible.

The list of maintenance and items that he replaced are included in the photo.

From what I understand, when he picked up the car in September ‘23, a lot of small things were broken or missing, so he spent a lot of time and effort replacing them.

Aesthetically speaking, I saw the value that the previous owner did as the modifications were tastefully done in my opinion. Some of those modifications include but are not limited to:

- Black Series Steering Wheel (Rare) 

- Renntech Carbon Fiber Air Box (Rare) 

- Weistec Oil Catch Cans 

- LoMo lowering module for suspension 

- 19” Staggered BBS LM154 & 155 on Michelin Pilot Sport Tires

- Dynavin 8 Car Play Radio 

- Full sound system with component speakers up front, coaxials in the rear, amp, and a sub (hidden behind factory panels and more. 

During my ownership, I’ve made the following cosmetic changes: 

- Carbon Fiber Front Lip

- Carbon Fiber Side Skirt Extensions 

- Carbon Fiber Rear Side Splitters 

- BBS Floating Center Caps

- BBS valve stem caps 

- New Front Grill 

- Thule Motion 3 L Cargo Box in Gloss Black (partially wrapped in a chrome vinyl) 

- Paintless Dent Removal 

- Rear Seat tear repair 

Mechanically, I’ve replaced the following: 

- New Rear brake lines

- New Rear Brake Hoses 

- New oil cooler lines 

- New alternator 

- New Serpentine Belt 

- New Thermostat 

- New Battery

- New Fuel Cap

- New HVAC Heater Blower Motor 

- New Resistor ACM 

- New Cabin Air Filter 

- New HVAC Temp sensor fan 

- New Driver Side Power Window Switch

- New Rear Hatch Assembly 

- Resonator Delete

- New Rear Main Seal

Around of October ‘25, I was having a conversation with my friend, Brian Crofoot, and we were reminiscing how I wish he would have moved forward with his plans to manual swap his W211 E55 AMG w/ Weistec blower about 8 years ago or so. 

He ended up not doing the swap because the car made more power than a OEM trans could handle, so he sold it as is without doing the manual swap.

Jokingly, I said we should manual swap mine and he replied “we can”. That’s when everything changed.

After further conversation, I committed to doing a 6-speed manual swap to the wagon. 

The goal for me is to have the car look, feel, and drive as if it came from the factory like that. For me, this meant utilizing as many OEM parts as possible. 

Below are the details for the parts that were used for the manual swap:

I have a full detailed listed of all of the components that were used. 

Cosmetically, the car is very clean considering its age. From my understanding, the car had some bad rust on the hood so the previous owner replaced the hood, then painted the bumper, the fenders, and eventually painting the entire car minus the roof and rear hatch to ensure that evening would match as good as possible. The car has been paint corrected and ceramic coated with GYEON Pure Evo. It’s meticulously hand washed and garage kept when it’s not being driven. 

Mechanically, the car runs and drives as it should with no CEL and no leaks that I’ve noticed. 

THE BAD: 

- The coding was primarily done through the factory Mercedes program, Xentury. Older model AMG’s have been successfully manually swapped (‘06 and older) but the ‘07 has different electronics. The ABS module on the ‘07+ are separate so currently there is one code on for the ABS light. 

The car still runs and drives as it should and I’ve driven it to surrounding states for Cars & Coffee gatherings with no issues (driven to VA, PA, NY, and NJ). 

I’ve spoken to the guys at Kwiek Classics in TN and they are currently in the process of manual swapping another ‘07 E63 Wagon and have the same error code for the ABS light. They ordered a euro W211 ABS module and waiting for it to come in, otherwise, they are thinking an emulator will fix the light but again, this is still in progress. 

I’ve been in constant communication with them and If a fix becomes available, I will have it addressed and the cost incurred would just get rolled on top of my current price.

- Car does have some rock chips from being driven but not many. 

This is a fair weather car for me and I’m meticulous with how I care for it. As I mentioned before, the car has been paint corrected and ceramic coated, so it always gets a handwash and cleaned before being tucked back into the garage. 

The car carried a clean title under my name, I have 1 key, and an entire book of maintenance between the last owner and myself. 

$50k would be the price it would take for me to sell it.

Though there’s something else that I’d like to experience, I still enjoy this car very much and intend to enjoy it until the right offer comes along.
