Description:
2014 Mercedes E350 4Matic located in NE Pennsylvania, near Wilkes-Barre
190,xxx miles. Clean title in my name.
Just inspected last week, four brand new tires (less than 5 miles on them), fresh oil change.
Keyless-Go, Bluetooth, navigation, all-wheel-drive. EVERYTHING WORKS! Cruise control, heated seats, climate control, the power rollup rear windowshade, everything works as though it were brand new.
Work done in the last eight months: replaced all four O2 sensors, intake cam phaser, timing chain tensioners, serpentine belt, tensioner and idler, engine and cabin air filters, battery, and cam position sensor wiring harness (preventative, to keep oil from leaking back into the ECU and ruining it, which is a common problem on W212s).
COMPLETE service history – every time a factory service was due, I generated a Mercedes workorder and performed every single step of it, every time. For ten years. Every time. Brake fluid flush? I’ve done five of them. Dealer-only transmission service due? Done 3 times. You will not find a better maintained, better documented car out there, period.
Engine was rebuilt at 52,000 miles by the factory due to a recall about wrist pin machining out of tolerance. Front suspension / steering rebuilt around 140,000 miles. All of the wood trim inside was replaced two years ago because of a class-action lawsuit around fading wood trim, and it’s beautiful. It does have aftermarket forged wheels, because for the first few years we had the car, we bent so many rims on potholes it almost turned into a monthly expense. So I went up one size on tires (did I mention the tires are brand new?) and installed the forged wheels and haven’t had a problem since. Bonus, they look nice too.
German cars were not available with remote start at the time (something about Germany and idling emissions) so I installed a DroneMobile system, which works flawlessly and also provides you with remote locking and GPS location. You can use it from the app or by long-pressing the panic button on the key. There is a subscription to use this, it’s $120/year, and I can transfer it right on the website. I also installed Video-in-Motion, which allows you to interact with the screen while the car is moving – so you can enter an address in the nav without having to pull over and stop first. You can also play DVD movies while driving, if that’s your thing.
The front fascia of the car has a lot of rock chips, I have included pics but it's hard to see. For the first few years we had the car, my wife was driving to Philly and back every day for work (hence the high mileage) and it kind of beat up the paint on the front of the car and the mirror caps. That’s really the only flaw on the car.
Also included is an iCarsoft MBIII scanner, which is a true full-function OBD scanner and interface built specifically for this car. Interacts will all control modules on the car. This is not a cheap parts-store scanner. I’ll include the other three cam phasers and oil control valves that the car did not need when I installed the one intake phaser. They came as a set. This alone is $800 worth of parts. I also have the factory floor mats in addition to the Weathertech and Coco Mats in the car, a Weathertech trunk liner with the flap that rolls out over the bumper so you don’t scratch the bumper loading suitcases, and the factory service manual (the “WIS”) on DVD-ROM. I have two keys.
No, I will not take payments from you even though you're "good for it", I will not hold the car for you until payday, and I will not take a check written on your grandmom's account.
