Description:
Brand new tires on the rear. Great tires on the front.
AMG factory body kit, AMG 18" wheels.
I purchased the Xentry DAS/Star Diagnostics setup with laptop from Shardul. He is a member on the forums here.
The car runs and drives. The vehicle is in great condition inside and out. All exterior & interior functions work and look great. The motor & drivetrain is fine but I made a screw up sometime back and attempted to clear off my oil change message on my dash and accidentally sent a blank v12 program to the chassis with star diagnostics. I rewrote the program as best as I could and everything seems to work great except the engine fan does not come on now. I called the local Mercedes dealership and they said they could rewrite the program and a local independent euro shop could do it also but due to unfortunate life circumstances, the car has to go and I cannot spend any money to get it fixed.
This is my humongous loss, your gain. The other problem with the car is the valve body for the abc suspension will either need replaced or rebuilt as the drivers side of the vehicle will start to droop over night. I am told that a check valve in it gets stuck open and causes it to not hold its pressure once the car is off. While the car is on, the abc pump keeps the car at the designated level. No external abc leaks, just more annoying. System fully functions. I start the car every week for 5 minutes to keep fluids moving. I also keep the car on a battery tender. A year ago i put some washers in the front ride height sensors to get rid of the front wheel gap, it looks good now without causing any camber or tire wear.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
The vehicle is located in Olathe, KS with a clean and clear title. Please bring a trailer as I don't want you to overheat the engine trying to drive it home. You can test drive around the block before the engine gets warmed up to much.
