Important Note for drive replacement:
Make sure need to have the latest firmware installed in your NTG2.5 otherwise navigation data cannot be recognized.
If you have not upgrade your command to the latest firmware, let me know and I can provide you a dedicated CD with its proper firmware upgrade.
No need to go to any authorized service center.
To check your firmware version, just press and hold together:
END + * + 6 (for 5 seconds) and then go to Menu and press OK
then select SWDL item. If you have the latest firmware you must
get HW/SW xx / xx / 09 / 29 / xx indicating your firmware version is
from 29th week of 2009.
Package Contains: ONLY THE HARD DISK DRIVE (TOSHIBA MK4050GAC) not the caddy / tray.If you have not upgrade your command to the latest firmware, let me know and I can provide you a dedicated CD with its proper firmware upgrade.
