Beautiful car!!! Stick to your guns on price. You'll get a lot of lookie loos, lot lizards and tire kickers, BUT it'll sell to the right buyer who loves the car and has the $$. GLWS!! I sold my Kleemann C55 AMG (2006) and NOW I still have people wanting to buy it.

Great to hear about your mileage; I do plan to keep the car if it doesn’t sell by next summer. As for the rear view camera; I have no information about the system. Not even a name on the camera itself. Also, it was already integrated and installed by the previous owner before i got the car. I purchased the car at 48k miles. I do have a question for you; do you have the original head bolts and camshafts/lifters in yours? As you may know it is a M156 owners’ main concern. Thank you!

Thank you very much. Im pretty firm on price due to good condition and updated maintenance on car; but i’ll allow some negotiation to help a fellow member out. I am a new member (finally) but have been using mbworld for the last 3 years. Funny you say; my last vehicle and reason for purchasing the E63 was because my mint condition, perfect, rare, black on black 2006 C55 AMG was abruptly totaled while I was sitting at a red light and was rear ended. Ill never find another car like that particular C55. After two and a half years of ownership and the (unlimited-budget) maintenance i provided for the car, Im still heart broken and waiting for another. I was at 126,500 miles when it was totaled.

ok thanks; I would love to have a backup camera directly integrated into the stock command unit. The previous owner(s) had the headbolts, cam adjusters, lifters replaced (the main reason I bought the car so I don't have to deal with that). Are yours original?

Very nice. Mine are in fact the originals. (Will be looking into the preventative maintenance)

The red on the mirror is a “Valentine One” radar detector that is integrated into the mirror rather than having a scanner mounted inside of the cabin. The scanners are mounted on front grill, one next to each fog light. Also, one is mounted next to the rearview camera on the license plate for rearward radar. The system will tell you if there is a threat ahead of you or behind you.

Update:

Head bolts will be swapped with the newly revised bolts in the beginning of January 2020. Head gaskets will be done as well and possibly new lifters (tappets). Also, fuel filter (assembly) will be replaced along with the fuel injectors.
Price is becoming firm.

wow definitely justifies price; but now with all this work just keep it and it will only appreciate in value! The w211 E63’s have been holding value for many months now and will continue to do so; and yours with such low miles and maintenance. So why the fuel filter change with continuous cleaning and low miles may I ask? Mine with 83k miles hasn’t been changed out and I too baby mine. Good luck again...you’ll get your buyer soon enough.

Let me add you should do a once over condition of the leather seats with Leather Love by Lithium (on Amazon also). The stuff is absolutely awesome and highly recommended by many auto detailers. I use it bi-monthly to reduce and keep creases away.

I will have to look into the Leather Love; thank you. I’ve still been using the chemical guys leather protectant serum and leather conditioner as i have the past few years. And like I said before, if the car doesnt sell by summer i will be keeping it for sure. I daily drive it almost 100 miles a day. By then it wont even be worth selling because of the miles vs market value. (Even tho they hold value better than others) Here is the thing with the fuel filter: i’ve read in the front of maintenance booklet that it does not have to be changed until 150k miles. Then in same booklet if you turn to 60k mile services, the box is checked for e class/fuel filter replacement. So i am actually confused on the matter, as much as i hate throwing unnecessary repairs at it. Any light on subject would be appreciated ( ive searched but found too much variety of answers from 63 owners) (Also checked my fuel pressure and check it on my live scanner frequently and it is normal) As for injectors, i do use cleaning agents but ive still heard/seen too many hydrolock situations due to only one failing. Its just more preventative maintenance. Thanks again all.

I too am confused on the fuel filter replacement. I understand it’s a maintenance item and without any issues I was just going to plan for it at 100k miles. I replaced my injectors this past summer so good for a while and I use liqui moly fuel system cleaner when called for.

I have to agree; 100k seems sensible. I may hold off and save on costs until 100k (unless a definitive answer is given or I experience any problems). Did you have any issues with your injectors or did you swap them as routine maintenance?

A couple of my injectors o-rings were shot and they were incredibly dirty. So decided to replace them all (oem). Also worried about them sticking open and/or spray less. I also removed and cleaned all the oil out of the intake manifold this past summer and did it all then.

if you haven’t also consider replacing the PCV as it’s known as a weak point on our car with the leaking oil. Get from FCPeuro for a great price and the lifetime warranty.

I will be a loyal FCP customer for life lol. As for the PCV valve, I was planning on diy around 80k miles as I did my C55. but ill have them replace when they do the bolts due to the location (heard its a little of a pain). So all, please consider this done. As for the intake manifold since they are pulling the heads Im sure the manifold will be cleaned before re-installation so im good there. Will be a nice keeper if not purchased. Still going to look for another mint C55 and throw a m113k in there lol

Thanks!
