Description:
Here are two videos of the car (
Selling my 2005 Mercedes Benz C55. I have about 90% of its service history in a big folder full of receipts as well as a spreadsheet. We need a bigger car, but I had planned on keeping I so I just did about 3k in maintenance within the past 3 months including:
// new brakes // brake bleed // brake hoses // alternator // radiator // oil pump gaskets // belt tensioner pulley // idler pulley // New belts // this 3-way hose near the rear of the engine that is prone to fail after 10-15 yrs. // 01/2019 new starter // tires have less than 10k miles on them // I also have a set of snow tires/wheels we could work into the deal!
From what I can tell, this car has every option offered for the C55. Birdseye Maple trim, Chrome rims, black leather, Navigation, and a rare nano paint color called Diamond Black Metallic. It is black from one angle and blue in another. Seats look like they have barely been sat in.
A few upgrades are the: // chrome OEM wheels // rear brake calipers from a CL600 // a shifter knob from a CLK I believe it was.
There is the normal external wear and tear from 15 years being on the road, rock chips.
There are also a few items that you might want to give attention to: // valve cover gaskets (im only at 1L per thousand miles) // Lower control arm bushings (hasn't really bothered me much) // rear shade replace (it doesnt go down) // rear defroster doesnt work (it was scraped off with the window tint 4-5 yrs ago) // Drivers seat heater back works, but the butt part doesnt work (a common issue with the C55). If you can turn a wrench and have basic access to tools and a space to do the repairs, these are fairly easy to perform.
