Description:
Brand new and never used. I bought this from a MBWorld forum member and I was going to put it on my new 2020 G550 when the rear mounted spare tire was deleted; however my wife actually likes it better with the spare tire and since she will be the primary driver it is her decision. I prefer the spare tire deleted since it provides much better visibility, reduces the weight and it looks better to me. Anyway, it is painted Iridium Silver albeit I can get it painted any color for $200 at a local shop that has done work for me and it will be a perfect match. The Black Mercedes Star is held on with 3M tape so I can remove it and put new 3M tape on it if the buyer desires. It may be able to be used on earlier G Class models but it was made for the new style 2019+, G550 or G63.
I included pictures of what it looks like when painted Black, on another forum member's G class. It looks like a factory piece and is made of carbon fiber and is extremely light so it is applied with 3M tape, as suggested by TopCar. The original purchaser paid about $2800 Canadian including shipping so I am selling it for much less, which is actually what I paid. Shipping is free in the US; contact me for the cost elsewhere.
