Description:
I am retiring, just sold my house, and plan to RV travel with my wife for a long time. Therefore, our well-loved S550 needs a new home.
This car was owned by a fellow board member in Florida, and came with 40K miles when I bought it. It now has 44K miles and has not been driven much in the past year, only garaged, due to Covid. Excellent condition, and I’ve fixed everything that needs fixed.
Notable options:
Cubanite Silver, which is almost a gold color, P1, P2, and P3 packages including cornering Xenon lights, night vision, dynamic massage heated and cooled seats (that work!), DVD Navigation, AMG Styling package with 19” wheels, RWD platform, V8 power.
Recent upgrades and repairs:
New Pirelli P Zero all season tires, Akebono brake pads and front rotors (no dust!), Audison AP 8.9 bit DSP amp, NAV DVD update, all dynamic seat modules and air lines repaired, engine and transmission mounts.
This car is not affected by the bad batch of V8 timing gears, does not have ABC to mess with, interior is perfect, and has only a few chips in the paint that detract from the finish. This car is good to go on any journey, and the last trip we took was 3000 miles to Yellowstone and back, getting 26 mpg. Not bad for a luxury cruiser going 80 mpg.
I would keep this car, but it would cost thousands in storage, insurance, and depreciation, so it must be sold. Have Carfax, title in hand, and can assure you it is a rare find with low miles.
