Can you confirm that these fit W212 or whether they're genuine? As far as I know Akra don't make anything for W212s face lift or pre face lift.

Yes, I can confirm these are custom made Akrapovic tips along with the entire Akrapovic exhaust system made for my now sold W222 S63 with the M157 engine and will fit all AMGs with the M157 engine. akrapovic did not make this, as far as I can now find, they never did, its a knock off.

I did not do friends and family. So thankfully it’s just a long process.

As mentioned in the original post, these were custom made for my W222 S63 that has now been sold along with Akrapovic exhaust system without the tips because the buyer didn’t want these tips. Please do your research on me as I have been α great seller on Mbworld. Video of the Akrapovic exhaust has been added to the post. I have also sold α set of Brabus exhaust system and wheels without any issues and wish you would of contacted me before posting such negative comment without verifying.

 

Do you have an audio clip of the exhaust when it was on the car? I see you sold it; I’m just curious about it.

 

This is NOT my car, but it is α W222 S63 with the Akrapovic exhaust that I had added videos to this original post, only difference was that I used the Brabus tips and diffuser with the Akrapovic exhaust.

David will say he is on business and can’t ship for just over seven days (PayPal period for initiating a refund). David will send a PayPal from lindawen.... then that PayPal will lead you to a name, xiaolen (or someone).

all parts of the sale will be suspicious.

I would ask for a copy of the akrapovic receipt. I was unwilling to even go that far cause I realized too many red flags right away.

Moderators should ban this person before someone else falls for this.

 

1: Did I tell you before you paid, the product would not ship until α week later which you agreed to before paying?

2: Did you ask for proof the product came from Akrapovic in which I added the videos of my Akrapovic exhaust system after you paid and made these wild accusations?

3: Did my original post say all payment was to be made via PayPal to protect the buyer and seller?

I just wanted to post this communication with the above buyer whom I clearly communicated that the product would not ship until next Friday BEFORE he paid and refund was made within 24 hours after the buyer requested it which should be reasonable.

Please keep in mind from the time this buyer communicated ( DM ) with me his interest to buy to him making payment then making these wild accusations and payment was refunded was ALL done within α 24 hours time span.

This has actual became from buyers beware to seller beware.

I did not pay attention at first to the fact that you would not ship until next Friday until I learned that that would coincide with the PayPal seven day period Which I would not be able to contest due to the email. Once I then did lots of research on whether or not these tips existed, it became fairly clear that these were knock offs from China.

Then, when the PayPal info was in a foreign language, and not your name, it furthur reinforced that I might be dealing with a non US account scam.

Given that you did not reply to me until I both contacted PayPal, requested payment and came to this forum underscores my reservation.

There’s also a funny post of yours when you ask about these tips just last month as if looking to buy...and someone tells you this type is not real.

And no, I did not ask for a receipt because my number one goal was a refund and not story after story. You saying “custom” does not mean akrapovic.

The best way to discredit my accusation is to post a receipt from akrapovic.

The papal protection is to make a buyer feel good during the scam so you are caught off guard. You will then go beyond seven day no receipt for PayPal but that won’t matter due to his “next Friday” email, and then the contention with would be about whether or not these are genuine and that would be a big pain in the butt to prove to PayPal the true value of the knockoff. I have not done anything but friends and family for a few years and am glad to have done it this way, this time.

This is only the second time in well over a hundred grand in PayPal small transactions that a seller has misrepresented an item for sale. The first one I could not cancel quick enough and I wound up with a “mint” pinball machine that was truly beat to hell and back, which I had to spend thousands rebuilding.

As far as seller beware, yes, I will complain about poor service, counterfeit parts, and scammers. So if you fit in that group please don’t sell to me. If you fit into the group of honest people selling for honest cash, hit me up, I’ve got plenty.

The term “please kindly confirm” is also often used by scammers from other countries.

You don’t seem to be reading what I’m trying to communicate to you from the beginning to the end so that’s on you. If you did do your research as you said you have, you would see I like to modify my cars and then changing my mind then selling them which is why I have sold many parts on here from Brabus exhaust and wheels, Adv1 wheels, Renntech EVM and more without α complain. As I have done in the pass, I always use my wife’s PayPal account as I don’t do this for α living and my wife is chinese so her settings are in chinese.

I had originally purchased the Akrapovic exhaust system and Brabus exhaust more than 3 years ago and sold them both more than α year ago as you can see from my Brabus wheels posts and I don’t keep my receipts after selling the parts after so long, do you? I did provide videos of my Akrapovic exhaust when I was originally selling them and that is more than evidence of the purchase.

I believe with my seller rating speaks for itself and I’m just going to leave this at that.

PS. Feel free to ask around members whom have purchased from me before if they ALL PayPal their payment to my wife ( yes, Linda ) and all were shipped from SoCal. Ask around before making yourself look stupid.

 

I have read and understand what you've written. The other items you've sold do not have the same counterfeit potential. I understand your feedback ratings and all of the other words you have used. I am very good at reading comprehension. I understood how you laid out the sale....

But, the sequence of the transaction is what led me to the suspicion. Doing transactions like this all the time, some words and sequences used are repetitively suspicious.

In the digital age, I can provide every receipt of everything I have not paid paper cash for, especially for items with warranties like the exhaust had for two years.. Id likely also have emails from the product purchase because of all the questions I would ask for a custom Item.
