2007 Mercedes Benz E550 V8 383HP, 391TQ, & 26MPG!

This is a high quality German-made vehicle with a 5.5 Liter Aluminum V8 and 7-speed automatic with sport-shift. Not to be compared with the majority of the non-Mercedes tin-can vehicles out there at this price point. The car has been surprisingly inexpensive to maintain which is attributed to the low cost of OEM parts and well thought out engineering. The E550 was only about 10% of the E-Class production so you will not see many for sale. Certainly not at this price. Do not compare it to the E350; those have a much lower powered V6 and were rarely well optioned.

This car has both of the factory option packages (P1 & P2) as well as parking sensors (Parktronic), split fold-down rear seats (awesome), wood/leather steering wheel, voice control, and electronic trunk closer. Other features include a Harmon-Kardon Logic 7 sound system with sub-woofer and 6-disc changer, navigation, bluetooth phone puck, rear window shade, Keyless Go (start only - door switches not functioning), Bi-Zenon headlamps with active curve illumination, pneumatic suspension with adjustable settings (soft, regular, and sport), and heated and cooled seats.

This has been my commute vehicle from the Bay Area to Sacramento for the past 7 years - a 178 miles round trip almost exclusively highway. Being my commute vehicle, I have stayed atop of the maintenance. I typically get 28-29 MPG on my commute (33.5 best!) and my overall city/highway is 26MPG (see pic of MPG). Rear airbags and right front air bag are Arnott units.

Tires are less than 15,000 miles (75% tread life) from Costco for over $800 (just rotated & re-balanced).

Registration good until 2022.

Within the last 5,000 miles:

Transmission fluid/filter change
Both flex joints (aka guibos)
Motor and transmission mounts
Spark plugs
A/C evacuation and recharge

This car runs like a top and looks great. Your friends/significant other will be impressed. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere (recently made a trip to LA). I attribute this to "truly" being highway driven, good engineering, and staying on top of regular maintenance. I lowered the car slightly by adding lowering links; these can be adjusted easily on the front without jacking but jacking is required to adjust the back.

Yes, it has high miles. But that's why I priced it at $4,995. Honestly, if I did not tell you the mileage you would think it has less than half the miles based on how it looks and drives. This may be the lowest priced E550 with a clean (non-salvaged) title that isn't wrecked on the planet!

Also, I don't want to trade for your [insert whatever you have] unless it is a beachfront home or a 50' yacht. Okay, I actually would consider the car + $25k for a 2005+/- v-drive open-bow ski boat.
