This is the plastic piece that connects to the turbo, L/R engine air filter boxes and PCV valve.
My car was making a noise that I thought was coming from this area. When I took it apart to do the engine air filters, I noticed that some of the plastic that connects to the turbo and one of the air boxes was missing and that the seal to the turbo was old. I assume the mechanic for the previous owner was not careful when reinstalling this and snapped off a bit of the plastic trying to jam it back together. I thought this might be the culprit of the noise, so I ordered the replacement part. The noise was something else (tensioner).
Mercedes part no. is 6420908237.
Anyway, I now have a perfectly functional albeit imperfect plastic batwing component available for sale. The seal is OK to the turbo because the rubber seal makes the seal and there's not much plastic missing. The sensors work fine. I can either return it the vendor for the core charge or sell it on here to someone who needs it. It's $300 minimum, $400+ at the dealer. It also has a new $15 rubber seal to the turbo.
I'd be happy to trade for a working A/C compressor, air suspension valve block, or air suspension struts/spring parts. Mine are working, knock on wood, but eventually I'll need this stuff.
