2003 AMG E55 (build 06-26-03).  163,000mi

Black on black, NON – Nav, Key/Go, Dynamic seats, HK Sound

Purchased car November 2020 as a replacement for my old 2006 E55 which had an early demise. Car had 155,532 @ purchase. Now has 162,800. Spends more time in the garage than anything on a battery tender. Oil changes every 5k w/ Liqui Moly 5w-40, Mann Filters, and new OE MB drain plugs (have only changed the oil twice, when I first got it and 2k mi ago). Have a CLEAN Carfax w/ 37 service records (majority from MB DEALER) on hand from when I purchased, and most receipts for parts I’ve purchased/Installed.  

Car has been dealer-maintained majority of its life.  Was serviced by MB of Louisville NEW to 11,00mi, MB of Birmingham 11,000 to 23,000, and Atlanta Classic Cars (Now Mercedes Of Atlanta Northeast) from 23,000 to 114,000mi

Body is straight. No dents or dings. Has some chips, couple small scratches. Paint is in pretty good shape for almost 20yrs old.

For the right price, I will Include an Extra, Good Condition 722.6 trans from a 2006 E55(has fairly new conductor plate installed), Fully Rebuilt/Flow Tested (have paperwork) set of 550cc Injectors/adapters with matching tune & flash cable, and 7in Tablet w/mount and OBD MX BT module for Data monitoring

 

Issues:

Brake wear indicator in dash, rear pads are for a S55/SL55 (Pads are same dimensions, but sensor location was different, and would reach)

Headliner starting to sag from the rear

Key and Go is fully operational and works from every door but driver.

Fuel sender has a crack at the top. For as little as I drove it, I never filled it up.   ***HAD PLANS ON ATTEMPTING TO GET MB TO GOOD WILL THIS SINCE IT WAS REPLACED ALREADY 4/10/2008 @ 58,507 BY THE DEALER, PRIOR TO THE EXTENDED WARRANTY BEING RELASED ON FUEL TANK COMPONENTS, CAR IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR WARRATY DUE TO VEHICLE AGE (15 YRS FROM BUILD DATE) ****

***IT’S A 2003, PRONE TO THE COOLANT/ATF MIXED FROM A FAILED SEAL IN RADIATOR. THIS WAS ALREADY ADDRESSED BY THE MB DEALER IN 2010. CAN SHOW CARFAX ENTRIES THAT PROVE THIS****
