After selling my low mileage E55 and CLS55 years ago, I'm in the market for another one. I have cash in hand but price will be determined by miles and mods. Looking for the E63 facelift, lowered, wheels, pulley, tune, pump and intercooler. Possibly even stock stereo swapped out. This is just a toy not a daily. I'm located in the western Chicago suburbs.

My 115k mile 2006 will be going live on Cars and Bids soon if you want to keep an eye out for it. Kleemann tune, 77mm clutched pulley, MBH headers and x-pipe, 010 pump, PLM heat exchanger, Creative Steel engine mounts, etc. Only real issue is a rear main leak. Lots of maintenance and many minor issues fixed. Car is originally Obsidian Black underneath. Several videos available here that I took in preparation of listing it on Cars and Bids.
I have a 2005 Weistec car that has 69,000 miles on it. Just made 697whp/868wtq on the Dyno last week. It’s a crazy build, and I’d want a little more than $30k in this market, but I’d entertain offers. It’s not showroom condition, but it’s decent. Obsidian black with dark blue/black interior. Wavetrac LSD, BC racing coilovers, trunk ice tank, AEM Meth injection, dual 450 fuel pumps. It’s a low 10 second car. Zero issues.

Condition is more important then mods. In my opinion the used car market bubble is ending with the Fed raise rates.

I agree. I’m a Benz dealer tech, and I’m very particular. Compared to any other 211 that comes in, my car is immaculate. But it’s not without flaws. Good luck finding a car. I know they’re out there, but I haven’t seen one with under 100k miles in a few years. At least not in person. They’re all so clapped out now. It’s a shame. I don’t want to sell my car, but everything has a price. Again, good luck!
