I had it professionally installed on my W212 by an authorized Escort installer (ACG Automotive) and when I sold the car, the dealer had it professionally removed without cutting any cables. It's ready to go.

OEM rear view mirror with display unit integrated into it (done by Radar-Mirror). The mirror is black, auto-dimming and has map lights and HomeLink garage opener buttons

If you are familiar with radar detector systems, you know this is among the best of the best units for concealed installation and performance. Decector system is universal but mirror and cluster module may or may not fit other models. I don't have that info - you'll need to confirm but whether or not you can use the extra components, I'm selling as a package.
