Description:
43k miles. Second owner of 15 years, bought Certified from Mercedes Benz Larchmont (now MB New Rochelle) with an additional 2 years of warranty coverage beyond the 1 year certified warranty - most records from my ownership (think a few have slipped away over the years...) Obsidian Black with tan/beige leather interior. Nav (old!) Bluetooth, Sirius/XM ready, rear facing 3rd row seating. Clean title and CarFax showing no accidents/etc (although it is missing a parking lot incident that happened about 10 years ago and fixed via insurance, so not sure how that didn't show-up) runs/drives well, never any work on engine or transmission beyond following the service schedule, love this car, but with the kids grown and off to school, working from home and too many cars in the driveway it is time to sell.
Repairs in last 18 months include:
New Front tires Continental ContiProContact (same as what originally came on the car and match the rears)
Alignment
New rear rotors and pads
New front passenger suspension air strut
Oil/Filter service (always synthetic and done at least annually since owned, unless mileage dictated sooner)
Everything works on the car, although occasionally the radio sound mutes for a few seconds, think it is related to the Bluetooth module? No warning lights, all interior lights work, etc.
Has been used as a family car for my 15 years of ownership and while garaged for the first half of that, she has her share of bumps and bruises, but generally looks good and shines up pretty well (waxed at least 2x a year since owned.) There is one rust spot behind the driver side rear wheel that is the result of that parking lot accident - evidently the repair was subpar, but otherwise the car is rust free.
Interior is clean, no rips/tears, etc, but certainly has the patina of regular family use.
I have 2 sets of snow tires on OEM rims, one set is still good, and have a refurbished OEM rim that has not ever been installed, plus Thule roof bars that go with the car if desired.
If I were to keep I would fix the rust spot, refresh the engine mounts to get back to the original smooooooth idle when in gear at lights (you can feel a bit of engine shake due to the mounts being worn) and there is a slight rattle in the right front suspension that I would eventually look into, but the car rides smooth/quiet, tracks straight, etc, so I haven't tended to it yet.
Note: pictures are from over the summer when I initially decided it was time, but never took the time to post - car hasn’t changed since, but will take new pictures if weather permits this week.
