Description:
1997 Mercedes SL600 with sport package. Imperial Red over Mushroom. It also has the very rare Panoramic hard top. Just over 44k miles.
I purchased this car a few years back, and am only selling it because I recently picked up an otherwise identical 1998 SL600.
Partial list of recent repairs:
All convertible top hydraulics have been replaced
New brake pads, rotors and fluid.
Replaced transmission fluid and filter, and updated transmission electronic connector.
Replaced spark plugs
Front suspension has been refreshed, as old bushings were shot.
Front seat leather has been replaced by GAHH, as original was cracked.
The nitrogen spheres for the hydraulic suspension are brand new.
If I were keeping the car, I would change the tires, refinish the wheels and get the interior detailed as the beige carpet shows everything.
This is a good solid car, that has been mechanically sorted. All of the big ticket items have been addressed. Its not perfect, but would be great to enjoy as-is or for someone who wants to bring it back to 100%.
