I like the two stone steering wheel. A nice alternative to the wood wheel, when you want the look, and want the sporting feel of the leather wheel at the same time.

I must admit, I don't get it. The "driver's Maybach" seems like an self-canceling phrase. Why wouldn't any "driver" prefer the S65? It's the same engine in a better-handling package with a better than 1000-pound advantage. Maybach is about being chauffeurred. It's got way-cool headphones in the rear doors. It's got sofas and office equipment back there. I get that. It's not for me, but I get it. But I have no idea why anyone who loves driving would prefer a 57S to an S65.

Becasue while one may enjoy driving (always) - one's guests being chauffered in the back seats may prefer those (and the ride) in the back of the 57S....

By "driver's car" I guess they mean any Maybach that is driven by its owner at all.

I've driven the 57S and it hauls. I'd rather have the Maybach and you could pick up a used one fairly cheap. The 57 is bordering on the edge of a drivers/chauffers car, but I had no problems. The 62 I would be chauffered in. FYI, the 57 is about 19 inches longer than a W221. With that being said Maybach is actually coming out with an S version of the 62 as well as a 51 as confirmed by a Maybach rep I spoke to.
