Hey Craig, need some advice and help. I've got some stock 18' rims and wanting to get some drag slicks. What size and type of tire should I go with? Hoosier, MT? Thanks for your help.

Hey, I just seen your thread on the part out for the e55, and was wondering if you have the right rear airbag? Thanks

    Hey my man!

Thanks for the post and kind words and link... Followed the link and I couldn't find any sign tht they mod the 2010+ XKR, which as you know is a crazy huge upgrade from the previous 4.2 motor (among many other big improvements). For a car that people think of as a 'presitige' old man car, the thing is OFF THE HOOK. No GT-R, but when you set the traction/etc right, open up the active exhaust, and the magnetic shocks stiffen up, it is a rough and brutal torque beast that sticks to the curves like a tic. Still a heavy car, so it isn't a pure sports car in real tight twisties, but really a superb package all considered...

I think I'm gonna start with mods that the dealerships can't spot and **** with my warranty. I have the crazy good Select Edition warranty, 7/100k, so I'm covered for many, many years and more miles than I'll probably use. Can't risk the craziness I had with MBUSA over my pulley and ecu from Renntech, MBUSA totally screwed me and wouldn't fix crap that was in no way related to the mods...

But man, the gains tuners are claiming from ECU only are off the hook! Aparently impossible to detect, I'm really tempted despite having been burned once before with the E55...

A pullely is out of the question for now, just to obvious a mod, they'll spot it and look for reasons not to honor the mega warranty that was a big reason i bought this particular car. Hate having all that power just a little pulley away, but these things aren't cheap to fix and I gotta play it conservative.

Thanks for reaching out and stay in touch. Good to be back
