    Hello Das Geld 2,
    I read one of your previous post regarding the W220 pesky plastic internal shift lever, I believe you stated you had removed it rather than replacing and experienced some problems with tip-tronic/4th gear start, just wondering if you have resolved this issue. I am interested in doing the same but looking for guidance. Any info is greatly appreciated.

    I inhereted a 2001 S430 with 88,000 miles when I got married. I basicly know nothing about the vehicle however recently, check engine light came on, took to dealer, replaced EGR and Mass Airflow $1200. Light went off. Couple of days later, light comes back on, took back to dealer, now they say codes are reading to replace cat converts and ox sensor for $3500 however, they also documented that the systems are working fine. What the hell?
